But there is also bad influence. Some of the young teenagers are addicted to computer games, and some even play games all night. I have remembered such a piece of news . An excellent student flunked (考試不及格) because he could not concentrate on his study for being too indulged in computer games. The most serious harm of computer games come from their contents, which affects teenagers ' mental health. Many games involve violence, such as fighting and killing. When they enjoy the pleasure of success, a violent turn of mind is developed and rooted in them, which may induce future violent behaviour in their life.

二、創設良好的語言學習環境，擴展英語教學的時空。
⒈靈活安排教學組織和課堂，以學生為主體，充分調動學生的積極性，開展兩人小組、多人小組、成行、成排、半班等多種形式的活動。這是小學英語教學的重要特點之一。只有開展這些活動才能使每一個學生充分地參與課堂實踐，才能體現出語言的交際性，才能實現師生之間和學生之間的互動性。課堂上課桌椅的擺放形式根據教學的需要采用不同的方式——秧田式、半圓式、全圓式、雙圓式等，目的是為了更好地開展各種教學活動。這樣做可以促進師生之間的情感交流，而且可以幫助學生培養起互相關心，合作的團隊精神。
⒉采用多種媒體的現代化教學手段，創設良好的語言環境和充分的語言實踐機會，優化教學過程。利用英語教學音像資源——圖畫、圖表、投影、錄音、錄像、cd、vcd、dvd等多媒體軟件，不僅能為學生提供規范的語音、語調，還可以提供真實自然的語言使用的示范，即語言使用的場合、時間、對象等，而且還有體態語——手勢、動作、表情等的示范。多種媒體的運用使教學變得生動、形象、活潑，感染力強，容易激發學生興趣，引起有意注意，加深印象，幫助學生持久記憶。充分利用現代化教學手段，可以超越時間和空間的限制，使學生置身于以英語為母語的環境中，體驗英語的實際運用。多媒體課件的使用可以使教學過程程序化，大大提高教學的效率，這一點對我們農村學校課時少的小學英語課尤為重要。
⒊把英語學習從有限的課內時空擴展到無限的課外時空，成立小小英語角、學校布置英語走廊、讓學生制作英語畫刊等各種形式的活動極大地提高了學生學英語的熱情，讓學生感受到英語無處不在、無時不學。
三、努力總結和發現問題，及時調整教學策略。
在實際教學過程中，教師應積極實踐，不斷探索，針對實際工作中出現的問題和學生身心特點，總結規律，認真思考，不斷摸索。尤其是在課堂教學中教師應具備良好的應變機制。以下圖表是小學三年級英語課堂教學中的一些實際案例。從中我們可能會有所提示。

Smoking is a greater cause of death and disability than any single disease, says the World Health Organisation.
According to their figures, it is responsible for approximately five million deaths worldwide every year.
Tobacco smoking is a known or probable cause of approximately 25 diseases, and even the WHO says that its impact on world health is not fully assessed. Heart attack and stroke
UK studies show that smokers in their 30s and 40s are five times more likely to have a heart attack than non-smokers.
Tobacco contributes to the hardening of the arteries, which can then become blocked and starve the heart of bloodflow, causing the attack.
Often, smokers who develop this will require complex and risky heart bypass surgery.
If you smoke for a lifetime, there is a 50% chance that your eventual death will be smoking-related - half of all these deaths will be in middle age. Smoking also increases the risk of having a stroke. Lung problems
Another primary health risk associated with smoking are lung cancer, which kills more than 20,000 people in the UK every year.
US studies have shown that men who smoke increase their chances of dying from the disease by more than 22 times.
Women who smoke increase this risk by nearly 12 times.
Lung cancer is a difficult cancer to treat - long term survival rates are poor. Smoking also increases the risk of oral, uterine, liver, kidney, bladder, stomach, and cervical cancers, and leukaemia.
Another health problem associated with tobacco is emphysema, which, when combined with chronic bronchitis, produces chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Smoking in pregnancy greatly increases the risk of miscarriage, is associated with lower birthweight babies, and inhibited child development.

Nicotine, an ingredient of tobacco, is listed as an addictive substance by the US authorities.

We are delighted to be here today with a very large American delegation, including the First Lady and our daughter, who is a student at Stanford, one of the schools with which Beijing University has a relationship. I say that to illustrate the importance that the United States places on our relationship with China.
I would like to begin by congratulating all of you, the students, the faculty, the administrators, on celebrating the centennial year of your university. Gongxi, Beida. (Applause.)
As I'm sure all of you know, this campus was once home to Yenching
University which was founded by American missionaries. Many of its wonderful buildings were designed by an American architect. Thousands of Americans students and professors have come here to study and teach. We feel a special kinship with you.
I am, however, grateful that this day is different in one important respect from another important occasion 79 years ago. In June of 1919, the first president of Yenching University, John Leighton Stuart, was set to deliver the very first commencement address on these very grounds. At the appointed hour, he appeared, but no students appeared. They were all out leading the May 4th Movement for China's political and cultural renewal. When I read this, I hoped that when I walked into the auditorium today, someone would be sitting here. And I thank you for being here, very much. (Applause.)
Over the last 100 years, this university has grown to more than 20,000
students. Your graduates are spread throughout China and around the world. You have built the largest university library in all of Asia. Last year, 20 percent of your graduates went abroad to study, including half of your math and science majors. And in this anniversary year, more than a million people in China, Asia, and beyond have logged on to your web site. At the dawn of a new century, this university is leading China into the future.
I come here today to talk to you, the next generation of China's leaders, about the critical importance to your future of building a strong partnership between China and the United States.
The American people deeply admire China for its thousands of years of contributions to culture and religion, to philosophy and the arts, to science and technology. We remember well our strong partnership in World War II. Now we see China at a moment in history when your glorious past is matched by your present sweeping transformation and the even greater promise of your future. Just three decades ago, China was virtually shut off from the world. Now, China is a member of more than 1,000 international organizations -- enterprises that affect everything from air travel to agricultural development. You have opened your nation to trade and investment on a large scale. Today, 40,000 young Chinese study in the United States, with hundreds of thousands more learning in Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.
first, i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents.
if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say,they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ?

一、注重教學過程管理，強調先進教學方法和理念的實施。
如何充分發揮小學英語在實現教育目標中的功能，從而體現小學英語在整個課程中的地位和作用，是小學英語教學必須重視的問題。英語學習的啟蒙階段是非常重要的，教學的成功與否將對學生的終身學習產生深遠影響。小學開設英語課程的目的在于培養學生學習英語的積極情感，形成初步的英語語感，打好語音、語調的基礎，具備用所學英語進行交流的初級能力。通過英語課程的學習，豐富社會生活經歷、開拓視野、樹立學習的自信心。為此在實際教學中我們要求廣大教師積極實踐和探索，在教學目標、課程實施、教學方法、教學評價等方面做到層層推進。在實踐過程中應該明確以下幾點：
1．在教學總體目標上，重興趣、重成就感、重自信心的培養。教師通過多種激勵的方式，如獎品激勵、任務激勵、榮譽激勵、信任激勵和情感激勵等，激發學生積極參與、大膽實踐、體驗成功的喜悅。有了成就感，就有了自信心，學生就會渴望學習英語；在課程實施上，重環境、重頻率、重效率。教學中特別強調語言環境的創設，充分利用和開發電視、錄音、錄像、光碟等多種媒體，豐富教學內容、活躍教學氣氛、創設生動和真實的語言環境。盡量在課堂上創造真實的情境，克服課時少的困難，并且按排早讀課及時復習，保證學生高頻率的接觸英語，為學生創造有效的學習條件，提高學習效率；在語言教學目標上，重語感、重語音語調基礎、重交流能力。學校和教師積極創造條件，提供良好的語言環境和設備，通過提供大量的感知、體驗、模仿等實踐活動，幫助學生形成初步的語感。語音語調的學習包括發音、重音、語調、節奏和語流等多方面，教學中要求教師防止以單音準確為目的的教學，通過多聽、多模仿，在有意義的語境中進行訓練，奠定語音語調的基礎。強調要培養學生交流能力就要創設交流的情景，使學生通過交流發展交流的能力。

二、創設良好的語言學習環境，擴展英語教學的時空。
⒈靈活安排教學組織和課堂，以學生為主體，充分調動學生的積極性，開展兩人小組、多人小組、成行、成排、半班等多種形式的活動。這是小學英語教學的重要特點之一。只有開展這些活動才能使每一個學生充分地參與課堂實踐，才能體現出語言的交際性，才能實現師生之間和學生之間的互動性。課堂上課桌椅的擺放形式根據教學的需要采用不同的方式——秧田式、半圓式、全圓式、雙圓式等，目的是為了更好地開展各種教學活動。這樣做可以促進師生之間的情感交流，而且可以幫助學生培養起互相關心，合作的團隊精神。
⒉采用多種媒體的現代化教學手段，創設良好的語言環境和充分的語言實踐機會，優化。利用英語教學音像資源——圖畫、圖表、投影、錄音、錄像、cd、vcd、dvd等，不僅能為學生提供規范的語音、語調，還可以提供真實自然的語言使用的示范，即語言使用的場合、時間、對象等，而且還有體態語——手勢、動作、表情等的示范。多種媒體的運用使教學變得生動、形象、活潑，感染力強，容易激發學生興趣，引起有意注意，加深印象，幫助學生持久記憶。充分利用現代化教學手段，可以超越時間和空間的.限制，使學生置身于以英語為母語的環境中，體驗英語的實際運用。的使用可以使教學過程程序化，大大提高教學的效率，這一點對我們課時少的小學英語課尤為重要。
⒊把英語學習從有限的課內時空擴展到無限的課外時空，成立小小英語角、學校布置英語走廊、讓學生制作英語畫刊等各種形式的活動極大地提高了學生學英語的熱情，讓學生感受到英語無處不在、無時不學。
三、努力總結和發現問題，及時調整。
在實際教學過程中，教師應積極實踐，不斷探索，針對實際工作中出現的問題和學生身心特點，總結規律，認真思考，不斷摸索。尤其是在中教師應具備良好的應變機制。①學習過程要有趣味性、有意義，要有利于激發學生主動參與的欲望。②善于利用學生的生活體驗，通過讓學生交流，使他們對所學語言產生親切感，從而激發學習動機。及時、正確地給予評價激發學生的成就感，從而產生學習的新動力。常常采用師生問答形式，學生感到枯燥、厭煩。教師讓學生與長毛絨動物握手交流，學生興趣倍增。
